WHAT YOU'LL DO
As the Quality Manager, you will build a world-class quality program that enables our brand to consistently deliver the highest quality products in the market. You will drive the completion of NSF GMP certifications across co-manufacturers, develop the foundation for NSF Product Certification of core SKUs, and implement end-to-end traceability processes. You'll also lead the development of testing standards and drive cost savings through quality process optimization—all while ensuring full regulatory compliance and advancing operational excellence.
WHO YOU ARE
- Experienced Quality Leader – You bring solid experience in quality assurance and regulatory affairs within dietary supplements, food & beverage, or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Regulatory Expert – You have hands-on experience with NSF GMP, FDA requirements, and know how to navigate certifications and audits.
- System Builder – You're comfortable building quality programs from the ground up—integrating ERP, QMS, SOPs, and traceability workflows.
- Scientifically Grounded – You understand analytical validation, lab controls, and can interface confidently with scientific advisors and labs.
- Process-Driven Operator – You thrive on creating SOPs, defining metrics, mapping workflows, and improving performance with structure.
- Collaborative & Analytical – You communicate clearly across departments and vendors, while using data to guide decisions and measure quality performance.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and complete NSF GMP certifications across co-manufacturers to ensure compliance and readiness for product-level certification.
- Establish framework for NSF Product Certification of core SKUs, aligned with business and regulatory strategy.
- Design, document, and implement traceability process improvements using Arena QMS and NetSuite ERP integration.
- Develop and validate a Kava Extract Standard for third-party testing, including analytical review and routine control chart analysis.
- Deliver a 15% quarterly cost reduction through execution of a Quality Savings Plan without compromising compliance or standards.
- Drive performance of 3rd party labs on TAT, consistency, and accuracy—eliminating expedited testing on core SKUs within forecast thresholds.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- 7–10 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Regulatory within dietary supplements, CPG, or pharmaceutical industries.
- Expertise in GMP, FDA regulations, NSF certifications, and validated quality systems.
- Demonstrated success building traceability protocols, SOPs, and lab validation systems.
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP and Arena or comparable QMS platforms.
- Ability to lead cross-functional projects, manage external labs, and execute on strategic quality initiatives.
COMPENSATION
An aggressive base salary will be provided in this position, with an additional lucrative bonus plan based on performance. Full medical benefits are provided as part of this role. Options/equity will be provided to suitable candidates after completion of the first 90 days. This role also provides the opportunity for advancement in role, function, and pay.
