Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Full-Time | 30–40 Hours/Week | Monday–Friday
Home Base: Draper Clinic
We are actively hiring Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join our team! This is a full-time position (30–40 hours per week) with paid travel time. Your primary home base will be our Draper clinic, with opportunities to assist clients in the Salt Lake area as needed.
If you are passionate about helping children with autism grow, gain independence, and thrive in their daily lives, we would love to connect with you. We welcome both experienced RBTs and individuals who are eager to enter the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and receive training.
Pay
$17–$24 per hour, depending on education and experience
About the Role
Registered Behavior Technicians work directly with children and adolescents with autism and related developmental disabilities. Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), RBTs implement individualized treatment plans designed to build communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills.
Services are provided in clinic, home, school, and community settings.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy sessions
- Implement behavior intervention and skill acquisition plans
- Collect and record accurate session data
- Support social, communication, and daily living skill development
- Collaborate with BCBAs regarding client progress
- Maintain a safe, clean, and structured therapy environment
- Communicate professionally with families and team members

Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable kneeling, squatting, sitting on the floor, and standing for extended periods
- Ability to use electronic devices for data collection
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between Draper and Salt Lake service areas
- Valid Utah driver’s license and current auto insurance
Qualifications
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred:
- RBT certification or willingness to obtain
- Experience working with children (0–16) in classroom or 1:1 settings
- Background in ABA, education, psychology, speech therapy, or related fields
Training & Support
- Paid training and paid shadow sessions
- $500 stipend upon passing the RBT exam
- Ongoing supervision and professional development
