Job Overview :
We are seeking a passionate an Afterschool Sports Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in coaching or teaching and working with children, but not required. Leading engaging sports activities, and promoting a safe and positive environment. This is not competitive sports, we are focused on recreational only. We are willing to train the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Lead high-energy practices, drills, and scrimmages for various sports
- Create a fun and inclusive environment that encourages participation and teamwork.
- Teach fundamental skills, sportsmanship, and healthy competition.
- Manage group behavior and maintain a safe environment for all participants.
- Communicate effectively with parents and Elevation Athletics staff as needed.
- Ensure equipment is organized and activity areas are kept clean
- Various sports including, Flag football, Basketball, Soccer...ect
- Afterschool sports program 1hr-2hrs a sessions
Qualifications
- Applicants must be 18 years of age or older
- Passion for working with kids and helping them grow through sports.
- Experience playing or coaching youth sports (preferred but not required).
- Energetic, positive, and reliable personality.
- Strong communication, ability to command a group of kids for sports
- Must have reliable transportation to travel to local schools or community centers
- Ability to work weekday afternoons or weekends.
- Background check required.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
