Responsibilities
- Lead daily plant operations, including shipping & receiving, inventory management, and materials handling to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Oversee the operation of plant equipment and other material handling equipement.
- Coordinate logistics with third-party logistics providers (3PL) to optimize distribution workflows and delivery schedules.
- Manage inventory control procedures to minimize discrepancies, prevent stockouts or overstock situations
Qualifications
- Proven experience in plant operations or warehouse supervisor roles within agriculture or similar environments.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively
- Ability to operate material handling equipment with mechanical knowledge of plant machinery.
- Experience working with shipping & receiving processes, materials handling techniques, and logistics coordination
