12am - 8am
Only 12 hour shifts available are on the weekends
8am - 8pm
8pm - 8am
Candidate must posses at least one of the following trainings to be considered for immediate hire. CPR/First Aid, Medication Administration, De-escalation/Restrictive Interventions Training, and Bloodborne Pathogens training. For Medication Administration & De-escalation training must have trainers credentials. Position starts immediately.
Previous group home experience is preferred.
Job Summary
Elevating Generations is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide supervision and support to adolescents (ages 8–17) in a Level III residential treatment setting.
This position plays a critical role in maintaining a safe, structured, and trauma-informed environment while helping youth build life skills, improve behaviors, and achieve stability.
Responsibilities
- Provide 24/7 supervision and support to residents
- Maintain a safe, clean, and structured living environment
- Assist with daily routines, life skills, and personal development
- Support youth with emotional regulation and behavior management
- Utilize de-escalation and crisis intervention techniques
- Complete daily logs, progress notes, and incident reports
- Transport residents to school, appointments, and activities (as needed)
- Follow all agency policies and NC DHHS regulations
- Maintain appropriate supervision ratios at all times
Qualifications
Required:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
- Ability to pass background check - Some Felonies Accepted
Preferred:
- Experience with at-risk youth, mental health, or residential care
- CPR/First Aid certification ( can obtain after hire)
- Crisis intervention or de-escalation training (can obtain after hire)

Pay & Schedule
- $15.00 – $16.50 per hour (based on experience)

- Direct interaction with adolescents in a behavioral health setting
- May require standing, monitoring, and responding to crisis situations
