Seeking a hardworking and knowledgeable prep cook to join our growing team. This is a starting Cook role at a wine bar in idyllic South Lake Tahoe. I am looking for someone who is local and reliable, hardworking, and can manage all back of house duties including prepping, cleaning dishes, and preparing easy dishes.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and menus.
- Assist in menu planning, ensuring a variety of nutritious and appealing options.
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the kitchen.
- Handle food items safely and efficiently, adhering to all food handling regulations.

- Utilize knife skills effectively for meal preparation, ensuring precision and safety.

Experience
- Previous experience as a cook or chef at a fast-paced restaurant
- Background in culinary arts or related fields with hands-on kitchen experience is essential.
