Facilities Manager
Position Summary
Elevated Wellness Clinic is seeking a dependable, hands-on Facilities Manager to oversee the daily upkeep, safety, appearance, and functionality of our housing properties. This role combines facilities management, handyman services, lawn care, landscaping, preventive maintenance, and operational support to ensure a clean, safe, welcoming, and professional environment for clients, staff, and visitors.
The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, mechanically inclined, and comfortable handling both indoor and outdoor maintenance responsibilities independently.
Key Responsibilities
Facility Maintenance & Operations
- Perform routine inspections of housing units, common areas, and outdoor spaces of all residential properties
- Complete general handyman repairs including:
- Minor plumbing repairs
- Basic electrical work
- Drywall patching and painting
- Door, lock, and hardware repairs
- Furniture assembly and installation
- Light fixture replacement
- Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other building systems
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and facility emergencies
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance/storage areas
- Monitor facility safety and report hazards immediately
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, safety, and facility standards
Lawn Care & Landscaping
- Perform lawn mowing, edging, trimming, and weed control
- Maintain landscaping appearance including shrubs, mulch beds, and seasonal plant care
- Remove trash and debris from exterior areas
- Perform seasonal property maintenance including leaf removal, snow/ice treatment, and storm cleanup
- Monitor irrigation systems and outdoor lighting
- Maintain curb appeal and overall exterior presentation of clinic properties
Vendor & Inventory Management
- Coordinate with outside contractors and service providers as needed
- Track maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment inventory
- Obtain quotes and assist leadership with facility improvement projects
- Ensure maintenance equipment is properly stored and operational
Facility Support
- Assist with room setups, office moves, and furniture relocation
- Support clinic events and operational needs
- Maintain security awareness including doors, gates, and alarm systems
- Assist leadership with special projects and property improvements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2 years of facilities maintenance, handyman, landscaping, or property maintenance experience preferred
- Working knowledge of:
- Basic plumbing
- Electrical systems
- Carpentry
- Lawn equipment and landscaping tools
- Ability to operate maintenance and lawn care equipment safely
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable transportation required
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical labor indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in healthcare, behavioral health, or office facilities
- OSHA or maintenance-related certifications
- Experience managing multiple facility locations
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance systems
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
