Music Teachers needed in both Golden and Centennial
Elevated Music Center is currently seeking multiple Instructors to provide in-person lessons in Instruments (e.g. Piano, Guitar, Drums, Violin/Viola, Cello, Upright Bass, Trumpet, Trombone, Clarinet, Saxophone, Oboe), Voice, Theory, Song Writing, Digital Composition, Sound Engineering, DJ, Artist Development, Music and Movement and Music Wellness ,at one or both of our 2 locations, Golden and Centennial, CO.

We are an approved dealer for Yamaha and Kala products. As a music retailer, we carry a large selection of instruments, accessories, and print music to support our students and community.
We also buy, sell, trade, consign, rent, and repair new/used gear as well has host and support group classes and various events.

Candidate Qualifications:
- Available to teach during peak lesson times (~ 3-8:00pm) 1 or more days during the week and possibly Saturdays between 9-4:00pm
- Comfortable teaching all ages of students
- Ability to teach in all styles and to at least a mid/intermediate level
- Ability to understand and teach relevant music theory
- Ability to teach at an advanced level and/or teach multiple instruments is a plus
Candidate Requirements:
- 1 Year teaching (Music teaching preferred, relevant considered)
- Degree in Music (Preferred, Relevant experience considered)
- Must enjoy working with students of all ages and backgrounds.
- Must be mature, responsible, collaborative, organized, punctual and maintain an upbeat attitude at all times
- Background Checks are required for this position
Instructor Responsibilities:
- Maintain a responsible, professional academic atmosphere and a creative musical learning environment
- Seek to understand students' needs and goals and then excite, challenge, and inspire students to learn and grow towards those goals
- Be communicative, timely and responsive to our administrative staff
- Be able to pass a background check
Compensation
You would be paid as an independent contractor between $30-$36 per hour depending on several factors such as your experience/education, your student retention rate and level of commitment to our school. You have the freedom to set your own schedule, as well as your own curriculum/lesson plans!

Pay: $30.00 - $36.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4.0 – 40.0 per week
