Adat Shalom Preschool is seeking warm, nurturing, and collaborative teachers to join our early childhood team for the upcoming school year. Our program serves children ages 15 months through Pre-K, and classrooms focus on learning through play, exploration, and meaningful relationships.

We are a welcoming community where teachers work together to create joyful learning environments that support the social, emotional, and developmental growth of young children.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm and engaging classroom environment where children feel safe and supported
• Support children’s social-emotional development, independence, and curiosity
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate, play-based learning experiences
• Supervise children and maintain a safe classroom environment
• Support daily routines including arrival, snack, toileting/diapering, and transitions
• Work collaboratively with co-teachers and preschool staff
• Communicate positively and professionally with families
• Maintain organized classroom materials and shared school spaces
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events as needed
  
  

Qualifications

• Experience working with young children (15 months–5 years) preferred
• Background in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field preferred
• Warm, patient, and reliable
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to actively engage with young children throughout the day
