Responsibilities
Assist with residential new construction projects from foundation to finish.
Frame walls, floors, and roofs.
Install sheathing, windows, doors, and exterior trim.
Load and unload materials and maintain a clean job site.
Operate hand tools and power tools safely.
Work from blueprints and follow instructions from supervisors and lead carpenters.
Assist with general carpentry, construction, and job site tasks as needed. Typical laborer and carpenter duties on residential construction sites include material handling, framing, cleanup, and assisting skilled trades.
Qualifications
Construction, framing, or carpentry experience preferred but not required.
Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in all weather conditions.
Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Ability to work safely on ladders and scaffolding.
Valid driver’s license preferred.
