Fire Sprinkler Fitter Apprentice (Experienced Tradesperson Preferred)

We are seeking a motivated individual with experience in the plumbing, mechanical, construction, or fire protection industry who is ready to take the next step toward becoming a licensed MS12J Fire Sprinkler Fitter.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has experience working with pipe and mechanical systems but needs the required field hours and training to earn their Journeyman license. You will work directly alongside an experienced MS12J Journeyman Fire Sprinkler Fitter, gaining hands-on experience while learning every aspect of the trade.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with the installation of commercial and industrial fire sprinkler systems.
- Measure, cut, thread, groove, and assemble steel pipe.
- Install hangers, valves, sprinkler heads, and related system components.
- Read and interpret blueprints and sprinkler layout drawings.
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, threading machines, grooving equipment, and lifts.
- Load and organize materials and maintain a clean, safe job site.
- Follow OSHA safety requirements and company safety procedures.
- Learn NFPA standards and industry best practices while working under the supervision of a licensed Journeyman.
- Travel to local job sites as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in plumbing, HVAC, pipefitting, fire protection, mechanical construction, or a related trade.
- Experience measuring, cutting, threading, grooving, or installing pipe is highly preferred.
- Comfortable using hand and power tools.
- Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic construction math.
- Experience reading blueprints is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Able to lift 75 pounds and work on ladders, lifts, and active construction sites.
