Experienced Optometry Technician – Multi-Location Practice
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

Location: McDonough, GA, with scheduled support in Decatur and Fayetteville
Elevated Eyecare is growing, and we are looking for a dependable, experienced Optometry Technician to join our multi-location medical optometry practice.
This role is best suited for someone who has experience in optometry or ophthalmology, enjoys working in a fast-paced healthcare environment, and is looking for long-term growth in eye care. The majority of time will be spent in our McDonough office, with scheduled support in our Decatur and Fayetteville locations as needed.
We are looking for someone who is professional, punctual, coachable, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership of their role.
What You’ll Do
- Perform advanced pretesting, including OCT, visual fields, retinal imaging, autorefraction, tonometry, and other diagnostic testing
- Accurately document patient information and testing results in Revolution EHR
- Support comprehensive eye exams, medical eye exams, and specialty visits
- Assist with contact lens training and specialty contact lens services
- Prepare patients for the doctor and help maintain smooth patient flow
- Set up and clean exam rooms between patients
- Communicate clearly with patients and team members
- Support practice goals related to patient care, efficiency, and service excellence
- Travel between McDonough, Decatur, and Fayetteville as scheduled
What We’re Looking For
- Prior optometry or ophthalmology experience preferred
- Experience performing OCT and visual field testing preferred
- Familiarity with Revolution EHR is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation
- Dependable, punctual, and professional
- Reliable transportation and willingness to work across multiple locations
- Comfortable in a fast-paced medical office environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to be coached
- Strong communication skills and a patient-first mindset
