Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various commercial and residential settings. Your expertise will ensure that electrical work complies with all safety standards, local electrical codes, and industry regulations. Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments, ensuring adherence to NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately execute wiring and system configurations.
- Perform electrical diagnostics using tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters to identify faults and resolve issues efficiently.
- Conduct high-voltage electrical wiring tasks safely on construction sites or during renovation projects while following all electrical safety procedures.
- Install and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage systems, and industrial electrical components for automation processes.
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively for wiring, conduit bending, mounting fixtures, and other electrical tasks
Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC (National Electrical Code), local electrical codes, and safety procedures.
- Hands-on experience reading electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.
- Skilled in troubleshooting electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters.
- Ability to work safely on construction sites or during renovation projects while adhering to all safety protocols.
- Experience with industrial electrical systems including programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automation equipment is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills combined with excellent hand tool dexterity and attention to detail.

- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test
