Job Overview
Elevated Dispo is looking for motivated, ambitious, and optimistic candidates to join our team as a Wellness Associate. This position is not for a single role, but for many. We believe that cross-training individuals across all positions leads to a more unified team to provide the best customer service possible. Above all, having a positive attitude and bright demeanor is paramount. You will be working alongside the owners every day to provide the best customer service on the Eastern Shore.
The wellness associate will cycle through ID check, Host, POS (budtending), inventory and in-house packing positions. The position starts at $19/hour, and after a 90 day probationary period we guarentee a raise to $20/hr if performance is satisfactory. After that, yearly evaluations will be conducted with guarenteed raises at each evaluation if performance is satisfactory. At the time of this posting, these positions do not have opportunity for advancement to manager levels.
Our current schedule framework is 4 days a week, 10 hours a day. At the moment we are not hiring part time.

Responsibilities
- ID Check - Warmly greet customers and ensure that only valid customers enter our facility by utilizing one stop and our ID scanners.
- Host - Warmly greet customers and help facilitate foot traffic in the lobby to maintain an efficient flow of customers to the sales floor. Host also facilitates medical patients recieving priority and be on standby for any questions customers have before entering the sales floor.
- POS- Engage customers in a meaningful and pleasant manner to provide excellent customer service. Ensure that transactions are compliant through understanding state mandated allotments and purchase limits Provide knowledgeable guidance on product ingredients, benefits, and usage instructions.
- Inventory - Prepare and fill orders in a timely manner as to not interrupt sales floor flow. Restock and maintain proper inventory levels on the sales floor. Understanding state mandated allotments and purchase limits to prevent unauthorized medical item transactions.
- In house packaging - Elevated has its own in house packing brand launching soon. Associates will be available to weigh, prep and pack items in accordance with state laws and SOP's.
- Deliver excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring a positive experience
Qualifications
- Previous experience in sales or customer service roles is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a friendly attitude are essential
- Knowledge of cannabis products, cannabinoids, terpenes, entourage effect etc. is mandatory.
- Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills with an active willingness to upsell products or services confidently
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all areas of the facility
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative independently
