What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Dentist position at Elevated Dental - Vail?
Associate Dentist Opportunity in Vail, CO
Elevated Dental is a privately owned general dentistry practice with locations in Vail and Gypsum, CO. Our Gypsum location just opened in July 2026 and with that expansion comes the need to add on another doc. Days/hours are flexible, but looking for 3-4 days a week primarily in our Vail location. We are open to all ranges of experience (new grads to semi-retired) and happy to provide mentorship. Our office is 100% Out-of-network and have won "Best of Vail Valley" for 4 years in a row and recently got nominated as "Business of the Year" by our local Chamber of Commerce.
Our office in Vail was built in 2018 and has a wide variety of technology: IO Scanner, Zirconia/Emax Mill, 3D Printer, Midas Printer, Diode Laser, etc. The services we provide are: general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, IV sedation, oral surgery, implant surgery/restorations, some orthodontics and some endodontics.
No need to feel like you have to do all these services to be a contributing member of the team. We are looking for someone who is a similar culture/philosophy fit and is OK with monitoring 50 year old amalgams. We want you to make a comfortable living and help the productivity of the office, but will not be hounding you to produce more. We just want you to feel good about the treatment you are providing to our patients.
We are very involved with the community by serving on boards/committees, supporting local non-profits, maintaining local trails and being active members of the community. We also provide low-cost work to those who apply to a local charitable fund. It's only a few patients a year, but helps those in need.
We also have a very strong sense of "teamwork makes the dreamwork." We do regular team building events and make sure that everyone who comes to work at the office is there for the same reason...provide awesome care in a low stress environment.
Ski towns are not for everyone, but having a short drive to both Vail and Beaver Creek and hundreds of miles of trails for hiking, biking, running, is amazing! Having the ability to get out into nature on a regular basis does wonders for your mental health (ask me how I know)
