Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide exceptional support to an individual in Aurora, IL. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Monitor and observe patients’ conditions, noting changes in health status and vital signs using medical terminology and documentation standards
- Support clients with specialized needs such as dementia care, Alzheimer’s care
- Prepare nutritious meals, assist with cooking, laundry, cleaning, and maintaining a safe home environment for clients
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure continuity of patient care and accurate medical records management
- Provide emotional support and companionship to foster a positive environment for clients
Qualifications
- Prior experience in senior care, home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care settings is highly preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology, vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and patient care procedures
- Certifications such as CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), first aid, or hospice training are advantageous
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or memory-related conditions like dementia or Alzheimer’s disease is required
- Strong communication skills coupled with compassion and patience for working with diverse populations
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are often required for home & community care roles
