Are you ready to inspire and support the learning journey of curious toddlers? ElevateChild Preschool is hiring an Toddler Teacher that has a love for learning, as well as working with infants to foster crawling and walking, and reaching developmental milestone. This role is ideal for an educator who enjoys working with infants that are just beginning to explore and discover their world, and inquisitive toddlers to help fostering their independence, autonomy and social-emotional skills.
At ElevateChild, we believe in hands-on learning, structured play, and individualized attention to help infants/toddlers develop critical skills. We are looking for a teacher who is passionate, patient, and committed to creating a fun and educational experience for our young learners. We also need a flexible teacher that can work with either age group at any given time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create a warm and stimulating learning environment for children.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that encourage early literacy, problem-solving, socialization, and motor skills.
- Encourage independence by helping children with self-care routines like handwashing, dressing, and feeding.
- Foster social-emotional growth through group activities, interactive play, and positive reinforcement.
- Monitor and document developmental progress, providing personalized support for each child.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and organized classroom that meets all safety and health regulations.
- Maintain open communication with parents, updating them on their child’s daily activities and progress.
- Ability to design fun, interactive learning experiences that align with early childhood education principles.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage with parents and fellow educators.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
- Minimum six months of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
- Strong knowledge of child development theories and best practices.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Associate in Early Childhood Education (preferred, but not required)
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Level 1 and/or IPV Fingerprint Card required
- DCS Background check
Job Details:
- Full-time position: 9-6pm (Monday to Friday, 8-hour shift).
- Work location: In-person at ElevateChild Preschool, Scottsdale, AZ.
