General Summary
This is a Marketing position responsible for leading website and email design, user experience, and new functionality. Comfortable designing in proprietary platform(s) and adhering closely with brand creative and guides. Provide thoughtful designs that delivers to requirements, direct gaps and needs of others, manage scope creep and ensure smooth operations between Marketing and key stakeholders.
The position will be the primary website designer that is responsible for delivering design mock-ups on site requirements and design with coded implementation on email workflow. User experience from top to bottom with supporting marketing assets to ensure consistency across all customer interactions.
This role works closely with content marketing, product management and website developers. This unique opportunity combines creative design with technical platforms offering solutions that pay close attention to detail with an end-to-end view. Strong candidates will have experience in environments that operate with some ambiguity in requirements and adapt and deliver on mandatories stated by compliance teams. Experience in fields that are pure play ecommerce or Fintech is a plus.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop new coded Emails within Salesforce (HTML and CSS)
- Utilize Figma to design website and email mock-ups using Figma, applying the platform's component library/design system to ensure visual consistency, development efficiency, and adherence to usability standards (ADA).
- Deep understanding of user experience (UX) best practices and a proven ability to champion and influence stakeholders towards optimal user-centric solutions as a subject matter authority.
- Exceptional ability to build strong, collaborative relationships and navigate effectively with diverse internal partners across various departments
- Lead the strategy and execution for a unified, customer-centric experience across web, email, and marketing touchpoints, acting as the central point of contact to champion user needs throughout all operations.
- Lead and direct external partners (e.g., design agencies), providing clear strategic guidance and decisive design/UX feedback to ensure deliverables align with project objectives and brand standards.
- Proven ability to partner effectively with development/ET teams, clearly articulating design objectives, specifications, and management of transition of designs from mock-ups to production with clear instruction for front-end
- Own and manage the end-to-end Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) process, leveraging data analysis (web analytics, user behavior), A/B testing, and UX best practices to identify key opportunities and continuously improve conversion rates across critical user journeys.
- Proficiency in designing, implementing, and analyzing A/B tests, multivariate tests, and usability tests to validate optimization hypotheses
- Experience driving significant improvements in landing page conversion rates through systematic optimization, including user research, testing, results analysis, and continuous refinement of page elements (copy, layout, forms, CTAs).
- Analyze and optimize the end-to-end online application funnel(s), applying data-driven CRO methodologies (e.g., funnel analysis, A/B testing, usability improvements) to reduce friction, minimize drop-off, and increase successful application completion rates.
- Proactively identifies workflow inefficiencies and collaborates cross-functionally to design and implement more effective, streamlined processes.
- Establish and manage a clear process for intaking requirements from Product and Marketing teams, facilitating prioritization discussions, and effectively communicating decisions and rationale back to stakeholders.
Experience and Education
- 5 years Web Designer/UX Front End
- Generative AI or similar experience
- ADA Compliance for Designers
- WordPress
- Bachelor’s degree in advertising, design, or related field preferred
