Role Summary
Lead regional operations for respiratory therapy services across a portfolio of Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs). This is a hands-on leadership role with frequent regional travel. You’ll partner with facility IDTs and Elevate teams to drive quality, compliance, culture, and growth—while keeping reimbursement clean and predictable.
--Key Responsibilities --
Facility Engagement & Relationships
- Visit each facility regularly (at least monthly); be the primary Elevate point of contact
- Build trust with Administrators, DONs, IDTs, and Elevate staff; remove friction quickly
Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Manage to Key Compliance Indicators (KCIs)
- Facilitate weekly and month-end triple-check participation for documentation and billing readiness
- Oversee audits; coach corrective actions; uphold state/federal/Medicare requirements
- Ensure Documentation Timeliness & Accuracy (progress notes, POCs, signatures, frequency adherence)
Culture & People Leadership
- Know every therapist’s strengths and growth areas; coach, recognize, and develop
- Celebrate milestones and run a monthly culture-building touchpoint with Elevate staff & IDT
- Champion safety; ensure regular safety huddles and follow-through on action items
Staffing & Development
- Recruit, onboard, and schedule RTs/support staff to align supply with clinical demand
- Run frequent 1:1s and performance check-ins; build a bench of future leaders
- Escalate major operational or compliance issues to the executive team promptly
Strategy & Growth
- Grow census and footprint through purpose-driven weekly outreach
- Deepen relationships with administrators, regionals, owners, and referral sources
- Track industry trends; translate insights into durable operating advantages
Communication & Reporting
- Provide concise, periodic updates on quality, compliance, growth, and financial health
- Broadcast wins and learning across the region; model Elevate’s Core Values
Preferences
- Bachelor’s in healthcare admin, business, or related
- 3–5 years in healthcare operations; multi-facility/SNF experience is a plus
- Working knowledge of healthcare compliance, documentation, and reimbursement
- Evidence of driving growth and improving margins without cutting corners
- Strong relationship builder; crisp communicator; data-literate operator
- Comfortable traveling frequently within the region
