Duration: approx. 3 months
- CPA
- Both public accounting and private industry experience.
- Strong provision and tax return experience, public company experience.
- Lead all aspects of the company's global tax function, including ASC 740 income tax provision, quarterly and annual tax reporting, tax accounting, deferred tax analysis, uncertain tax positions, and coordination with external auditors to ensure compliance with SEC and financial reporting requirements.
- Oversee the preparation and review of federal, state, local, and international income tax returns, ensuring timely filing, tax compliance, and optimization of the company's overall tax position while managing relationships with external tax advisors.
- Manage and mentor a high functioning team
- Direct tax planning initiatives focused on minimizing cash taxes, optimizing effective tax rates, utilizing tax credits and incentives, and managing tax risks across multiple jurisdictions.
- Lead federal, state, and international tax audits, responding to taxing authorities, negotiating audit settlements, and ensuring appropriate documentation and compliance controls are maintained.
- Oversee tax forecasting and cash tax planning, supporting budgeting, forecasting, and long-range strategic planning processes while providing tax insights to the CFO, Audit Committee, and Board of Directors.
