Elevate Recruiting is partnering with a publicly traded company to identify a talented Financial Analyst consultant to join its Financial Planning & Analysis team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an analytical finance professional looking to gain exposure to budgeting, forecasting, executive reporting, business partnering, and strategic analysis within a dynamic corporate environment.
What You'll Do:
✅ Support the annual budget and periodic forecasting processes across multiple business units
✅ Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts, including variance analysis against budget and prior periods
✅ Analyze business performance and identify key drivers impacting financial results
✅ Develop and maintain management reporting, dashboards, and analytical tools to support strategic decision-making
✅ Partner with business leaders to provide insights on financial performance, key metrics, and operational trends
✅ Assist in preparing materials for executive leadership, Investor Relations, Audit Committee, and Board meetings
✅ Perform ad hoc financial modeling and analysis to support strategic initiatives and business growth
✅ Identify opportunities to improve FP&A processes, reporting, and forecasting capabilities
Qualifications:
✔️ 2–5 years of FP&A experience (public company experience preferred)
✔️ Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
✔️ Strong understanding of financial statements, variance analysis, and forecasting methodologies
✔️ Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
✔️ Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management
✔️ Experience with Hyperion is a plus
