Position Overview
We are seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) to join our Pueblo team. This role involves providing psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing treatment in an outpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments
- Diagnose and treat mental health conditions across the lifespan
- Provide medication management and ongoing psychiatric care
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with case managers and care coordination teams to support patient outcomes
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
- Maintain compliance with Medicaid, commercial insurance, and regulatory requirements
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a supportive clinical environment
Additional Responsibilities
- Provide clinical guidance to case managers related to care coordination (non-supervisory, aligned with RAE expectations)
- Support continuity of care through collaboration with community partners, hospitals, and referral sources
- Participate in quality, safety, and clinical best practice initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Colorado license as a Nurse Practitioner (APRN)
- Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
- DEA license and ability to prescribe controlled substances
- Experience in outpatient psychiatry preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to trauma-informed and culturally responsive care
Schedule & Work Environment
- Full-Time preferred (flexible scheduling options available)
- Outpatient setting
- In-person (Pueblo location) with potential for hybrid flexibility based on clinic needs
