A well-established private country club in the Coatesville area is seeking a talented and dependable Banquet Sous Chef to help lead high-volume banquet and event culinary operations. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in leading banquet and event culinary operations for high-volume functions and member events
- Execute plated dinners, buffets, cocktail receptions, and specialty events with consistency and attention to detail
- Support daily kitchen operations including prep, production, expediting, and line execution
- Help manage food quality, presentation standards, and kitchen organization
- Assist with scheduling, training, and motivating culinary team members
- Maintain food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards at all times
- Work collaboratively with culinary leadership and front-of-house teams to ensure seamless event execution
- Assist with inventory, ordering, and controlling waste and food costs
Qualifications
- 2 years of Sous Chef or Banquet Sous Chef experience in a club, hotel, catering, or upscale restaurant environment
- Strong banquet and high-volume execution experience preferred
- Hands-on leadership style with the ability to lead by example
- Organized, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure
- Passion for hospitality and culinary excellence
