Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
- Help with mobility and transfers
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Document care provided and report any concerns or changes in client condition to the supervising nurse or caregiver.
Experience
- Previous experience in home care, retirement homes, nursing homes
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others is essential for success in this role.
