Nurse Practitioner

Position Overview

The Nurse Practitioner will work collaboratively with our rheumatologists and infusion team to evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with autoimmune and rheumatologic diseases in an outpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and follow-up visits
• Diagnose and manage rheumatologic conditions (RA, SLE, psoriatic arthritis, vasculitis, connective tissue disorders, etc.)
• Order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostic studies
• Develop and manage treatment plans, including biologics and specialty medications
• Provide patient education and counseling on disease management and medications
• Collaborate closely with physicians, infusion nurses, and clinical staff
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation (EHR)
• Participate in quality improvement and clinical best practices

Qualifications

• Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) in New York (NJ license a plus)
• Board Certified (FNP or AGNP preferred)
• Prior experience in rheumatology, internal medicine, or autoimmune care preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and patient communication skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care

Pay: $125,944.17 - $151,674.70 per year

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
