Position Overview:
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Pick and Pack Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in our fulfillment process by accurately picking, packing, and shipping orders to customers. This role requires excellent organizational skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Efficiently pick orders from designated inventory locations based on provided pick lists.
- Carefully pack orders according to packing guidelines to ensure products are protected during shipping.
- Verify accuracy of picked and packed orders to minimize errors and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Utilize shipping software to generate shipping labels and documentation for outgoing orders.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counts and restocking shelves.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to prioritize tasks and meet daily performance goals.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and quality standards.
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years old or older
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or fulfillment center preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency with computer systems and basic data entry skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
