Our customer, a leading global technology company, is seeking an experienced Immigration Attorney to join its Corporate External & Legal Affairs (CELA) – Employment Immigration team. This contract role will provide critical support to high-volume U.S. business immigration operations during a period of increased demand and ongoing program support.

The Immigration Attorney will be responsible for providing strategic legal guidance to visa-dependent employees and business stakeholders, managing complex employment-based immigration matters, and supporting compliance initiatives related to U.S. immigration law. The role includes overseeing the preparation and filing of non-immigrant and immigrant petitions, advising on I-9 and E-Verify requirements, and conducting legal research to support business and policy decisions.


Role: Immigration Attorney

Start Date: January 5–6, 2026

Duration: 6 months (with potential extension up to 18 months)

Engagement Type: Full-Time Contract (40 hours per week)

Location: Preference for on-site in Redmond, WA; partially remote considered

Working hours aligned with PST


Key Responsibilities

  • Support high-volume U.S. business immigration operations
  • Provide strategic legal advice on complex immigration matters to visa-dependent employees and business groups
  • Advise on I-9 and E-Verify compliance
  • Oversee preparation and filing of non-immigrant and immigrant petitions and applications
  • Ensure legal compliance in immigration filings
  • Conduct legal research and draft concise legal memoranda
  • Partner with internal colleagues and outside counsel to manage projects
  • Translate complex legal issues into clear written and verbal guidance


Minimum Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent and active bar license
  • Active license to practice law in at least one jurisdiction
  • Able to meet admission requirements in relevant jurisdictions


Preferred Qualifications

  • 3 years’ experience as an attorney practicing business immigration law
  • High-volume business immigration experience, preferably with technology clients
  • Experience across non-immigrant and immigrant visa processes, including H-1B, L-1, TN, PERM, and EB-1 categories
  • At least 3 years of private law firm experience
  • Prior experience supporting large corporate or global workforces
  • Familiarity with in-house legal team collaboration
  • Experience managing and collaborating with outside counsel
