Location: Knoxville (Maryville), TN
Internship length: 9 1/2 weeks (June 1st - August 7th)
Part-Time (2-3 days a week)
Responsibilities:
- Shadowing an experienced financial advisor and assisting with everyday tasks
- Training to gain knowledge of the financial services industry as a whole
- Assisting financial advisors in marketing their services through appointment setting, social media marketing, phone calls, and other means of marketing
- Observing client meetings and processes
- Working directly with a financial advisor on case studies of potential clients and assisting in financial plan development for clients
- Learning strategies around investment and portfolio management for existing and potential clients
