You’ll support kitchen operations by preparing ingredients, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring stations are fully stocked and ready to serve guests who are enjoying movies, games, bowling, and more.

About The Role
As a Prep Cook at Elevate Entertainment Group, you’ll be an essential part of the culinary team, helping deliver crave-worthy menu items in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. You’ll support kitchen operations by preparing ingredients, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring stations are fully stocked and ready to serve guests who are enjoying movies, games, bowling, and more.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare menu items following company recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Set up and stock food stations before and during shifts
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in all prep, storage, and cooler areas
- Ensure proper labeling, dating, and rotation of food items
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and handling standards at all times
- Learn and assist in multiple kitchen line positions
- Communicate clearly and proactively with managers and team members
- Execute tasks calmly and effectively during high-volume periods
- Support the team with additional prep or special duties as assigned
Skills & Abilities
- Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and handling standards
- Team-oriented mindset with clear and professional communication
- Ability to stay focused and organized under pressure
- Friendly, guest-first attitude and strong work ethic
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid State Food Handler Certificate required
- Previous experience as a prep or line cook preferred

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for extended periods
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
- Comfortable working in environments with loud noise, flashing lights, and repetitive motion
