Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Lake Charles, LA, for a Research Coordinator. The Research Coordinator will oversee the day-to-day operations of clinical research studies, including participant recruitment, coordination, and maintaining accurate documentation. Responsibilities include obtaining informed consent, coordinating with the Institutional Review Board (IRB), and ensuring compliance with research protocols and regulatory requirements. The role requires collaboration with medical teams, data collection, and ongoing communication with study participants.
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical and Research skills to evaluate study protocols and data.
- Excellent Communication skills for interacting with participants, medical teams, and external stakeholders.
- Experience in Data Collection and ensuring the integrity of research findings.
- Knowledge of Institutional Review Board (IRB) processes and procedures.
- Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Previous experience in clinical research is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Life Sciences, Public Health, or a health-related discipline is preferred.
