Key Responsibilities:
Safe Transportation:Safely transport patients to and from medical appointments and healthcare facilities using the provided vehicle.
Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure the safety of both the patient and others on the road.
Assist patients with boarding and exiting the vehicle, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the journey.
Patient Care:Maintain a friendly and compassionate demeanor while interacting with patients.
Provide basic assistance to patients who may require help getting in and out of the vehicle, including patients with mobility aids or disabilities.
Ensure that patients are comfortable during the journey, adjusting the vehicle temperature, seating position, and other factors as needed.
Communication:Maintain open and clear communication with dispatchers, healthcare professionals, and patients.
Confirm appointment details and address with patients prior to departure.
Report any issues or concerns related to patients' well-being, vehicle maintenance, or scheduling to the appropriate parties.
Route Planning:Plan and follow the most efficient and safe routes to reach the destination, taking into consideration traffic conditions and time constraints.
Familiarize oneself with the local geography and medical facilities to ensure timely arrivals.
Documentation:Maintain accurate records of trips, including pick-up and drop-off times, mileage, and any relevant patient information.
Complete necessary paperwork related to patient transportation, such as logs and incident reports.
Vehicle Maintenance:Conduct routine pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
Report any maintenance or repair needs promptly to ensure the vehicle's safety and reliability.
Professionalism:Maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times, wearing the provided uniform and identification as required.
Treat all patients, colleagues, and healthcare professionals with respect and courtesy.
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
