Summary Of Position-
The Aviation Maintenance Planner will be responsible for optimizing the full lifecycle of an aircraft’s maintenance requirements including, but not limited to scheduling, coordinating, minimizing downtime, assuring efficiency and complying with safety regulations to ensure airworthiness. By creating detailed work packages, managing parts/resources, and liaising with flight operations, technicians, and suppliers, you will be the central point person responsible for utilizing all available resources to track tasks, records, and technical data for scheduled and unscheduled MRO events, major inspections, and unexpected repairs.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Quotation Alignment: Align work scope with client quotes to assure accuracy by liaising with the sales team.
- Work Package Creation: Build detailed work packages with task lists, required parts, tools, and personnel availability for maintenance teams.
- Schedule Development: Create and maintain master maintenance plans of aircraft inputs, balancing multiple aircraft schedules, man-power requirements, and part availability.
- Downtime Optimization: Strategically plan maintenance to reduce aircraft downtime and operational disruption.
- Coordination & Communication: Act as a central point person, liaising with customer operations, maintenance crews, manufacturers engineering, and MRO vendors.
- Resource Management: Request, track, and manage the procurement and delivery of necessary parts and consumables assuring on time arrival.
- Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all work adheres to aviation regulations and accurately document maintenance work scope per customer requirements.
- Data Analysis: Use reports and software to identify maintenance trends, accuracy of quotations and recommend process improvements to leadership.
- Other duties as assigned by leadership.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities-
- Understanding of aircraft systems, maintenance processes, and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience with maintenance tracking and scheduling systems, such as Corridor, EBIS and CAMP.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office/Google products
- Strong ability to manage complex schedules and logistics.
- Excellent communication both written and verbal with diverse teams.
- Ability to adapt plans for unscheduled events.
- High School Diploma. College degree, preferred.
- 2 years project management experience, preferred
- Prior experience working in aviation preferably at a 145-repair station
- Airframe and Powerplant Certificate a plus
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Standard business hours are expected for this role; however, the schedule may vary depending on the needs of the operation. Must be available for on-call work nights and weekends when required.
- Travel may be required. Up to 10%
- FLSA Status- Full time exempt
- Lifting requirements- Up to 25 Lbs.
- Must be able to obtain airport SIDA badge
