In this role, you will start by learning the fundamentals of B2B client acquisition, sales strategy, and account management, then progress into a leadership track where you can manage a territory, oversee client relationships, and develop a sales team. This is a field-based role requiring local travel, direct client interaction, and strong communication skills.
Compensation: Average annual earnings range from $50,000 – $75,000 (base pay performance-based commissions).
What You’ll Be Doing (Day-to-Day Responsibilities):
- Prospect and acquire new business-to-business (B2B) clients within assigned territories
- Present telecommunications and technology solutions to business owners and decision-makers
- Learn and execute face-to-face sales strategies, lead generation, and closing techniques
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships and business accounts
- Manage a sales pipeline, track leads, and follow up on opportunities
- Conduct in-person meetings, presentations, and consultations with clients
- Support onboarding and account management for new business customers
- Work toward weekly and monthly sales targets and KPIs
- Train in leadership, team development, and territory management
- Assist in mentoring new hires as you progress into a leadership role
- Travel locally within the Salt Lake City market for client meetings and outreach
Training & Career Development:
This is a manager trainee position, meaning you will be cross-trained in:

Preferred Background & Experience:
- Experience in B2B sales, outside sales, business development, or account management preferred
- Background in telecommunications, technology, or direct sales is a plus
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Self-motivated with a goal-oriented mindset
- Ability to work independently in a field / territory-based role
- Comfortable with face-to-face client interaction and prospecting
- Reliable transportation required for local travel
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
