Reporting to the Asst Mgr Product Mgmt II (IND), you will lead a Java Middleware team delivering cloud-native integration services and data enablement solutions on AWS, integrating with Snowflake and downstream healthcare platforms, while coordinating cross-functional teams, timelines, and dependencies. You will own end-to-end delivery and technical leadership (scope, milestones, RAID, status reporting), drive engineering excellence (quality, throughput, cycle time), and ensure secure, compliant, and reliable delivery across development, release, and production support for healthcare-grade systems. JOB RESPONSIBILITY Support program planning and execution across multiple Java middleware, AWS, and Snowflake workstreams, including roadmap tracking, milestone management, and delivery forecasting. Knowledge on Spring boot Framework for Java Middleware Drive delivery governance by maintaining integrated plans, RAID logs, action/decision logs, and proactively escalating risks and dependency conflicts. Coordinate end-to-end SDLC execution: requirements readiness, sprint/release planning, integration coordination, UAT readiness, production release planning, and hypercare/production support coordination. Own stakeholder communications and reporting: weekly status, executive summaries, KPI dashboards, and clear visibility into progress, blockers, and next steps. Facilitate core delivery forums/ceremonies (team syncs, sprint reviews, retros, release readiness checkpoints, stakeholder connects) and ensure follow-ups/closure on actions. Track and drive improvements in engineering excellence metrics (velocity trends, cycle time, defect leakage/DRE, release stability) while ensuring alignment with healthcare security, privacy, and compliance expectations (in partnership with InfoSec/Compliance). QUALIFICATION Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering (or equivalent practical experience). 6 years of experience in software engineering with strong hands-on expertise in Java and middleware/integration development. 2 years of experience leading a team (tech lead/team lead) including task planning, code reviews, mentoring, and delivery ownership. Strong experience building API/microservices (REST), integration patterns, and distributed systems (sync/async, messaging). Working experience on AWS (at minimum: IAM, VPC/networking basics, CloudWatch/logging, S3; plus compute such as ECS/EKS/Lambda/EC2). Experience integrating applications with Snowflake and/or data platforms (ingestion patterns, security roles, data access, performance considerations). Strong CI/CD and engineering practices: Git branching, automated builds/deployments, unit/integration testing, and observability. Experience in Agile delivery (Scrum/Kanban), including estimation, sprint planning, and release coordination. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. EXPERIENCE Minimum relevant experience – 5 years Preferred total experience – 8 years SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES Experience with event streaming/messaging (Kafka, SNS/SQS, ActiveMQ, etc.). Knowledge on Spring boot Framework for Java Middleware Familiarity with data engineering concepts (ETL/ELT, batch vs streaming, data quality checks). Healthcare domain exposure (claims, eligibility, provider/member data) and awareness of compliance expectations (HIPAA, PHI handling).
