Responsible for general administrative support to Group or Individual sales force (i.e., typing, filing, faxing, and mailing).
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Types, files, faxes, provides phone support and processes mail.
- Prepares and logs proposals.
- Maintains supplies.
- Researches and resolves routine sales, claims and benefit issues.
- Assembles and distributes open enrollment packets.
- Gathers, inputs, and tracks sales data. Generates sales reports.
- Support the sales process internally by providing assistance to both the Large Group and Small Group sales teams, ensuring smooth transactions when requests for proposals are needed.
Requirements:
- Requires a high school diploma or a GED equivalent and a minimum of 1 year of experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
- Candidates must reside within 50 miles or 1-hour commute each way of a relevant Elevance Health location.

Additional Details:
- Problem solving skills as they will be working independently at times
- Monday - Friday from 8am to 5pm P.S.T. Monday and Tuesday with be "Work from home"
- -(9133 W. Russell Road, Las Vegas, NV, 89148). Monday and Tuesday are optional…they can work from home or in the office. Wednesday through Friday will be "Work in office"
- There is a possibility of extending the temp assignment beyond December 31st
- Must be able to meet specific deadlines and turn around times
- Organizational skills
- Good communication skills, both oral and written
- Basic computer literacy
Elevance Health operates in a Hybrid Workforce Strategy. Unless specified as primarily virtual by the hiring manager, contractors are required to work at an Elevance Health location at least once per week, and potentially several times per week. Specific requirements and expectations for time onsite will be discussed as part of the hiring process. Candidates must reside within 50 miles or 1-hour commute each way of a relevant Elevance Health location.
