Maintenance Technician

Job Title:  Maintenance Technician III
Location:  214 Conover Blvd., SE Conover NC 28613
Duration:  06 months (Possibility of Extension)
Shift: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Job Summary

We are hiring a Maintenance Technician III to support preventive maintenance activities and help keep production equipment operating safely and efficiently. This role includes equipment cleaning, inspections, lubrication, filter changes, minor repairs, and maintaining accurate maintenance records using a tablet.

Required Qualifications:

• Mechanical training or maintenance experience
• Basic electrical knowledge
• Safety training experience
• LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) training or experience
• Ability to use a tablet for inspection and maintenance records
• Experience cleaning, inspecting, and documenting equipment
• Ability to check oil levels and refill when needed
• Experience lubricating chains and greasing bearings
• Ability to replace air lines, grease lines, filters, and belts
• Ability to identify worn parts and oil leaks
• Experience creating work orders (WOs)
• Ability to remove and reinstall equipment guards safely
• Must wear PPE including steel-toe shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection

Preferred Qualification:

• Electrical training is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Support preventive maintenance program activities
• Clean, inspect, and maintain production equipment
• Complete equipment inspections and documentation
• Change oil, air filters, and belts as needed
• Lubricate equipment and maintain components
• Identify maintenance issues and create work orders
• Follow safety procedures including LOTO and PPE requirements
• Keep accurate maintenance and inspection records
