Elera Health partners with primary care practices to help children and families access the specialty care they need. We support families from referral through treatment, connecting them with clinicians who fit their needs and insurance while keeping their primary care team involved.
We’re looking for a pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist to provide care primarily in children’s homes in the Christiansburg area. You’ll work closely with children and caregivers, incorporating therapy into familiar environments and everyday routines. Elera handles credentialing, billing, and referral coordination, with flexibility to set your own schedule and caseload.
About You
- A compassionate, self-motivated pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist with experience in Early Intervention, school-based programs, outpatient care, or private practice.
- Passionate about helping children communicate and supporting caregivers in building skills between appointments.
- Committed to evidence-based practices, individualized care, and play-based approaches when developmentally appropriate.
- Comfortable working independently and collaborating with families, referring providers, and other clinicians.
- Available to provide in-person services in Christiansburg, VA.
- Licensed or eligible for Speech-Language Pathology licensure in Virginia. CCC-SLP preferred; CF-SLP candidates may be considered where appropriate supervision is available.
- Bilingual proficiency is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-person evaluations, reviewing medical and developmental history, caregiver concerns, and family goals.
- Develop personalized treatment plans with measurable goals and recommendations for therapy frequency.
- Provide pediatric speech-language therapy within your areas of clinical expertise, including speech, language, fluency, voice, and/or feeding and swallowing.
- Engage children through activities tailored to their interests, developmental needs, and treatment goals.
- Educate caregivers on practical strategies they can incorporate into everyday routines.
- Maintain timely clinical documentation, monitor progress, and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with primary care providers and other clinicians to support coordinated care.

Pay: $55.00 - $85.00 per hour
