About Us:We are a fast-growing real estate development company focused on affordable multifamily housing across Los Angeles. Our projects span the full lifecycle: land acquisition, predevelopment, vertical construction, lease-up, and long-term operations. The Analyst will support these functions directly and work closely with senior leadership. Our team of ~10 people operates in a nimble, entrepreneurial environment. The ideal candidate is eager to learn the full spectrum of real estate development.We are seeking a proactive, adaptable, and detail-oriented Analyst to assist the company in overseeing stabilized and development assets. The ideal candidate should have prior office experience, strong Excel proficiency, and a foundational understanding of real estate analysis and financial modeling. The highest-priority responsibility for this role is taking ownership of the construction draw process for projects currently underway. Key ResponsibilitiesDevelopment & Construction (Primary | ~70%)Manage the full construction draw process, including:Review, and reconcile GC pay applications, subcontractor invoices, lien releases, change orders, and backup documentation.Prepare complete, lender-ready draw packages and coordinate responses to lender or inspector questions.Maintain accurate construction budgets, contingency usage, retainage, and change order logs.Assist with executing financing, purchase, and sale transactions.Prepare underwriting packages for brokers, lenders, and internal review.Coordinate closing with escrow, lenders, and brokers to provide all due diligence requests.Stabilized Asset Management (~25%)Maintain internal dashboards tracking loan maturities, covenants, reporting deadlines, and key property documentation.Organize and maintain all corporate and property-level documents; coordinate with legal counsel as needed.Monitor monthly property performance through review of property management reports (occupancy, leasing, expenses, delinquencies).Coordinate with property management to ensure timely completion of work orders, vendor tasks, and compliance items.Acquisitions & Market Research (~5%)Conduct preliminary screening and underwriting for potential land or multifamily opportunities.Perform market research on new and existing submarkets to support acquisition decisions.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or related field.2 years of post-college work experience in Finance, Real Estate, Business Administration, Accounting, or similar role. Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, IRR/XIRR, SUMIF, etc.). Experience with DCF Models, Real Estate underwriting. Understanding of financial statements (P&L Statement, Balance Sheet).Experience or knowledge of Real Estate – transactions, finance, property management.Interest in multifamily real estate development, asset management, construction processes, and permitting/entitlement.Exceptional attention to detail and an ability to manage recurring monthly workflows.Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate professionally with partners including lenders, brokers, contractors, governmental organizations. A “get it done” mindset—resourceful, organized, and proactive.
