- Business Development: Responsible for identifying, pursuing, and developing new client relationships. Focused on prospecting and acquiring new customers through outbound prospecting and relationship building.
- Account Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building trust through consistent communication and responsiveness. Identify opportunities to expand existing accounts by understanding customer needs and recognizing where additional services may add value. Use on-site insights to improve coordination and overall service delivery.
- Quoting & Order Management: Prepare accurate quotes, track orders through completion, and follow up on outstanding issues. Ensure all order details are correct, and aligned with customer expectations to support smooth execution and high satisfaction.
- Internal Coordination: Work closely with internal teams to ensure projects meet client requirements, specifications, and deadlines. Act as a liaison between customers and internal departments to keep projects moving efficiently.
- Documentation & Reporting: Document client interactions, order details, and follow-ups in internal systems. Maintain accurate records to support accountability, continuity, and effective communication across teams.
YOUR EXPERIENCE
- Knowledge: High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field preferred. Minimum three (3) years of experience in a role such as Account Manager, Business Development Representative, Strategic Sales Manager, or similar role. Experience in manufacturing, fabrication, machining, or industrial sales required.
- Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple accounts and resolve issues proactively. Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed. Competence with basic office software (email, spreadsheets, quoting tools). Familiarity with quoting and order-tracking systems is a plus.
- Ability: This position can work remotely, given a proven track record of territory development in a similar role and industry. A drug screen and background check are required. Additionally, the ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check is required.
