About the role:
As a Sales Coordinator in our Slate studio you will play a vital behind-the-scenes role in supporting the sales team and ensuring smooth, efficient operations. You will be responsible for preparing quotes and internal sales reports, processing orders, managing administrative tasks, and maintaining internal records. This role also includes coordinating project timelines, managing the full sales order process from entry through invoicing, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure accuracy and alignment across all documentation. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
What you’ll do:
- Support Sales teams, Project Managers, and Designers with proposal preparation, product specifications, and internal documentation.
- Manage order entry, processing, close-out, and follow-up activities while maintaining proactive communication with vendors and internal teams to ensure accuracy and timely updates.
- Coordinate project timelines, track milestones, prepare status reports, and collaborate across teams to keep projects on schedule and adapt to shifting priorities.
- Review and proof orders for accuracy and completeness using checklists and internal systems.
- Enter orders and generate purchase orders for vendors and subcontractors.
- Keep up with order status, pricing, lead times, and special requirements to provide timely and accurate project updates internally.
- Communicate installation dates, project updates, and status changes regularly to sales, project teams, and stakeholders.
- Provide accurate data and documentation to support sales forecasts, collaborate closely with the finance team on financial projections, and contribute to resource coordination, decision-making, and overall team efficiency.
- Identify potential risks or issues in orders or timelines and escalate as needed to support timely resolution.

- You are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, with strong data entry skills, familiarity with formulas and pivot tables, and have hands-on experience with CRM, order management, or ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle, Hedberg).
- Prior experience as a Sales Coordinator or in project coordination, customer service, or related roles is preferred.
- Experience in the furniture industry is a plus.
Work Environment:
Hybrid Work Environment: This role is based in Denver, CO and follows a hybrid model, requiring in-office presence 3 days a week to foster effective team collaboration and mentorship, with the flexibility of remote work on other days. Please note that in-office presence Monday-Friday is required during the first 90 days of employment.
Compensation:
$23.00 - $28.00 per hour
