We are seeking a motivated and dependable D.O.T. Landscape Driver to join our dynamic landscaping team. Duties
- Safely operate D.O.T.-compliant trucks and landscape equipment to transport materials, tools, and crew members to various job sites
- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, tree trimming, pruning, planting, and irrigation setup
- Use hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment including excavators and other machinery to perform site work
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform basic maintenance to ensure safety and operational readiness
- Support with snow plowing and winter storm response when necessary to keep properties accessible
- Assist with hardscape installation projects such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor features
- Follow safety protocols at all times while working with landscaping materials, machinery, and construction tools
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment, trucks, and power tools
- Experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture preferred
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, excavators, and other construction machinery confidently
- Knowledge of tree care practices including trimming and pruning techniques
- Strong understanding of irrigation systems and general landscape upkeep
- Excellent physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
