Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently, including cashiering duties, while accurately managing retail math calculations.
- Assist with food service when needed, including serving food at events like banquets or catering functions.
- Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies, and communicate needs to management promptly to ensure smooth operations.
Skills
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings; hospitality or food service background preferred.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; familiarity with cash handling and cashiering procedures.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts while maintaining high-quality service.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests and handle challenging situations gracefully.
- Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and alcohol serving regulations.
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions, tips calculation, and inventory management.
- Experience with catering events or large-scale food industry operations is a plus; retail math skills are also beneficial.
