What are the responsibilities and job description for the Grade 4 ELA Elementary Long-Term Substitute position at Elementary?
Long-term substitute position for the 2026-27 school year. Seeking a qualified long-term substitute to provide Grade 4 English Language Arts instruction during an extended teacher absence.
Responsibilities include delivering standards-aligned literacy instruction, implementing lesson plans, maintaining classroom routines, assessing student progress, and collaborating with staff and families to support student achievement.
Must hold required elementary PA certification.
Experience teaching Grade 4 or upper elementary ELA.
Familiarity with literacy curriculum/programs such as Wit & Wisdon or similar standards-based ELA resources.
Experience with small group instruction, intervention, and data-driven instructional practices.
