JOB TITLE: Campus Principal - Elementary School
REPORTS TO: Superintendent
DEPARTMENT/SCHOOL: Elementary School
WAGE/HOUR STATUS: Exempt
PRIMARY PURPOSE: Direct and manage the instructional program and supervise operations at the campus level.
He/she will provide instructional leadership to ensure high standards of instructional delivery. He/she directs the
implementation of District policies and instructional programs and manages the operation of all campus activities. This position will start with the 26-27 school year.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master's Degree in Educational Administration from an Accredited College/University
- Mid-management/Appropriate Teacher Certification
- Certified Appraiser in the Texas Teacher Appraisal System (T-TESS)
- Minimum Experience: Prior Administrative and Instructional Leadership Experience
- Prior Elementary Principal Experience, Preferred
- Ability to lead the campus level programs and direct the improvement strategies necessary for improved student access
- Experience with Bluebonnet preferred - knowledge of curriculum and requirements for grades PK-6
