What are the responsibilities and job description for the Elementary Related Arts Teacher and Classroom Support Long-Term Substitute position at ELEMENTARY?
Elementary Teacher- Come be a part of The Tiger Way! Seeking a positive, dedicated individual with current knowledge of curriculum standards, strategies, and best-practices in the elementary setting for a long-term substitute position for the full 2026-2027 school year.
? An individual who is reliable, builds relationships with students, staff, and community and is able to plan and present lessons to facilitate students' understanding and application of curriculum at the K-5 level.
? A knowledge of elementary music, art, and Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education is desired.
? The candidate should be open to working with students of different needs and abilities in a
general education or special education setting.
? The candidate should be able to work closely with other teachers, as well as maintain the
organization and management of the classroom setting.
? Knowledge of interventions, Restorative Practices, and Positive Behavior Support strategies is desired.
? Candidates should meet credit requirements for long-term substitute in the State of Michigan.
? Candidates with current elementary teaching certification or enrolled in an elementary teaching certification program are preferred.
