What are the responsibilities and job description for the Elementary 5/6 Grade Teacher position at Elementary?
The Keota Community School District is seeking an Anticipated Elementary 5th/6th Grade Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year for our K-6 education program.
The ideal applicant will be a subject matter expert in the teaching area, proficient in the use of student achievement data to guide instruction, able to openly and honestly collaborate with peers, able to use technology to present high quality student instruction, and committed to maximizing the learning potential of all students.
Must have or be able to obtain a State of Iowa teaching license by the position start date, with an “K-6 Teacher Elementary Classroom - 102” endorsement.
This position is full time with full single health insurance and other major benefits available. Salary range is between $50,000 - $62,000 depending on years of experience.
