The Sigourney Community School District is in search of an Anticipated full-time 5th Grade Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year.
We are seeking a motivated, passionate, and student focused leader with a strong teaching background for our elementary PK-6 education program.
Must demonstrate effective classroom management skills through building positive and strong relationships with students and families. The candidate must be able to differentiate instruction and assessment to meet the needs of all learners.
Job Description
Salary is based on experience and education. Competitive Benefit Package Include: Full Single Health and Dental Plan, other benefit and supplemental plans are available as well.
Applicants must be certified in the State of Iowa or able to obtain licensure by the position start date, with an “K-6 Elementary Classroom” endorsement.
