What are the responsibilities and job description for the Educational Aide position at Elementary School?
The teacher aide will work one-on-one with students and assist the teacher in the preparation and management of classroom activities and the completion of administrative requirements. Assignments to additional or specific duties may occur as necessary and are assigned by the Principal.
Requirements:
The qualified candidate must pass an assessment exam (locally administered) and become certified by the State Board of Educator Certification.

4. Provide proof of Identity (Driver's Lic., SS card, Birth Certificate, Passport, or other government documents.)
Included in the electronic application:
- You must affirm you are in compliance with the SB 9 fingerprint requirement and will submit to a CHRI review via the "DPS Computerized Criminal History (CCH) Verification Form" (included in the application process).
- An "Affidavit of Applicant Offered Employment" (included in the application process) must be completed and notarized before a candidate is offered a professional position at N-S CISD. A notary public is available in the Human Resources office for candidates who are recommended for employment. This pre-employment requirement complies with TEC 21.009 and local policy.
