We are seeking an Agri-STEM Teacher who is passionate about hands-on learning, environmental stewardship, and scholar empowerment. This educator will design engaging instruction, build real-world experiences, and foster a learning environment where scholars grow academically, socially, and professionally.
What You’ll Do
The Agri-STEM Teacher will play a critical role in cultivating curiosity and confidence in our scholars. Responsibilities include:
Instruction & Scholar Learning

Develop and deliver a rigorous, relevant Agri-STEM curriculum aligned to ARLCS goals and state standards.

Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that supports individualized, small-group, and experiential learning.

Design engaging lessons that connect agriculture, science, and sustainability concepts to real-world applications.

Provide instruction in the use of agricultural tools, equipment, technology, and industry-aligned techniques.

Offer hands-on learning experiences such as fieldwork, labs, and project-based learning.
Data-Driven Practice & Compliance

Monitor scholar progress through ongoing assessments and adjust instruction to meet diverse learning needs, including scholars receiving special education services.

Maintain accurate records for grades, attendance, learning activities, and required documentation.

Uphold ARLCS policies, classroom culture expectations, and behavior standards that create a productive learning environment.
Collaboration & Community Engagement

Collaborate with colleagues to embed Agri-STEM concepts across the curriculum and participate actively in PLCs and campus committees.

Build strong partnerships with families and maintain open communication regarding scholar progress and expectations.

Engage with local agricultural and STEM partners to enhance learning opportunities for scholars.

Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with agricultural trends, technologies, and instructional best practices.
Other Responsibilities

Organize instructional materials, safety protocols, and classroom resources effectively.

Support schoolwide initiatives and perform additional duties as assigned by the Principal or administrative team.

Understanding of effective teaching practices, including differentiated instruction and data-informed decision-making.

Knowledge of agricultural science, sustainability, and Agri-STEM instructional approaches.

Qualifications
Education & Certification
-
Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Education or related field (required).

Valid Arkansas teaching certification in Agriculture Education (preferred).
Experience
-
Prior successful teaching experience preferred.

Experience in agricultural, STEM, or hands-on project-based environments is a plus.
