English Language Learning Teacher - .65 FTE
Qualifications required:
- Appropriate teaching license/certification
- Experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse students preferred.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of language acquisition strategies and instructional best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction to English Language Learners (ELL) in listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
- Develop and implement individualized and small-group instructional plans aligned with state standards and language proficiency goals.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to support student success in all academic areas.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records of language development and assessment data.
- Administer language proficiency assessments and assist with student placement and program recommendations.
- Communicate effectively with families regarding student progress and educational support.
- Create a welcoming, inclusive, and culturally responsive learning environment.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school improvement initiatives.
- Support compliance with federal, state, and district requirements related to multilingual learner programs.
